Personal Identification Information

We treat personal identification information with the utmost security. We will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit the information to us. Samundri Industry collects personal identification information only when you fill out a quote form or place an order with us. We may request, as appropriate, your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. You always have the option to refuse to supply personally identifiable information. Doing so, however, may prevent you from using some functions of our web site.

Non-Personal Information

We may collect non-personal information whenever you interact with our site. Non-personal information can include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about your means of connection to our site, including the operating system and the Internet service provider(s) used, and other similar information. We may use this information to provide a better user experience to our customers.

How We Use Collected Information

Samundri Industry may collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To improve customer service

Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently. We want to make your buying experience as fast and easy as possible.

  2. To improve our website

We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services. Your feedback is always important to us. We want to hear what you have to say!

  3. To process payments

We may use the information users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide service. For example, we will give UPS or FedEx your name and delivery address when shipping your product.

  4. To send periodic emails

We may use the email address you give us to send information and updates pertaining to your order. It may also be used to respond to inquiries, questions, and other requests. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

Web Browser Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance the user experience. Your web browser stores cookies small packets of data — on your computer which allow the website to recognize your browser and remember certain non-personal information. You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert when cookies are being sent. If you choose to do so, please note that some parts of the site might not function properly.

How We Protect Your Information

We adopt stringent data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our site. Sensitive and private data exchange between the site and its users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. The only information that is stored on our secure servers after your transaction is completed is your name and email address for filing purposes.

California Residents: California Online Privacy Protection Act

Samundri Industry, in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act, will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.

Compliance With Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act

We will never collect or store information on our site from those we know are under 13 years of age. No part of our website is structured to attract anyone under the age of 13, and we are in full compliance with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
